Jake: Painted Nerf Praxis

Here are some more blasters that my buddy Jake painted.  They are also both modded.  The white and black one is his and the red and black one is his son's.  Both blasters were sand blasted and then painted.

For this blaster, Jake was going for a snow camo look.  He used a white base coat and then used black hobby paint to do the tree branches.  He finished the whole thing with a clear coat to protect it from scratches.

For this blaster, they put a black base coat down and then did a layer of red on top.  This one is for his son and will be used very often.

If you have any comments please just post them and I will be sure to let Jake and his son know.  Thanks for viewing!

Jake: Modified Nerf Maverick

Here is the gun that my friend Jake worked on while we were modding and painting some Nerf blasters this weekend.  He is big into hunting and modeled it off of camo colors.

Internal mods that were done include removing the AR's, removing the locks, putting pennies behind the spring, and having a full barrel drop.  He really greased the internal parts up after painting so that all the parts run as smooth as possible.

As for the paint job, the blaster was completely taken apart and then sand blasted.  After sand blasting it and cleaning it off, he began painting.  He only used one color but it came our really nice.  He left the trigger and barrel orange to go with his hunting theme.  The blasters paint job is extremely smooth and love the feel of it.

Jake does not have a blog, but I will be sure to let him know of any comments that are sent. Feel free to comment and share your opinion.  Also if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Matt: Modified Nerf Maverick

This is the first of a series of posts that will be coming out very shortly.  Over the weekend, some friends and myself decided to mod some of our Nerf blasters and give them a new look.  We went out and got a sand blaster to try out and see how it works in preparing the blaster for painting.  The sand blaster was a great resource and helped preparing the blaster for painting.  It reaches those hard spots that you can't really get with a piece of sandpaper.  I would recommend it to anyone who is serious about painting their guns and getting really nice paint jobs out of it.
This one here is my roommate Matt's Nerf Maverick.  Has all basic internal mods: AR removed, penny mod, full drop barrel, dart pegs removed.  We then sanded it and painted it.  He wanted to just test out a whole bunch of different things.  Here are some pictures of his finished project.

Matt doesn't have a blog but any comments you post I will be sure to notify him.

Thanks for viewing!!

***Be sure keep your eye out for the other blasters that we painted***

Dan: Modified Nerf Spectre

Here is a sweet paint job and cosmetic mod to a Nerf Spectre that was submitted by my friend Dan.  Has the AR's removed and will be adding a OMW spring along with a red dot sight to the blaster.  The cool part of this is the stock.  He did not use the folding stock that comes with the Spectre but instead modified a recon stock to his liking.

I have seen some of his other work and he does a great job!  He is very talented and I hope to get more submissions from him in the future.

He does not have a blog or place for you to contact him but still show him some love in the comments section below!
