I recently got into Ustream. For those of you who do not know what Ustream is, basically....it is a live video feed. I had the idea of using this to my advantage. Christmas break is coming up soon and I am just about done with all my semesters work so my time for modding will increase greatly! Plus I already have acquired multiple blasters that I can mod. I was thinking that I would Ustream(live video feed) myself while modding and having conversation. Is this something that you would be interested in watching. If so, let me know in the comment box below.
The cool thing about this is that after I complete a live feed, it will archive the video and can be replayed meaning that it can be used as a video tutorial. Just looking to see the interest level among viewers to see if anyone would watch. Let me know :)
Happy Thanksgiving!

Jake: Painted Nerf Praxis
Here are some more blasters that my buddy Jake painted. They are also both modded. The white and black one is his and the red and black one is his son's. Both blasters were sand blasted and then painted.
For this blaster, Jake was going for a snow camo look. He used a white base coat and then used black hobby paint to do the tree branches. He finished the whole thing with a clear coat to protect it from scratches.
For this blaster, they put a black base coat down and then did a layer of red on top. This one is for his son and will be used very often.
If you have any comments please just post them and I will be sure to let Jake and his son know. Thanks for viewing!

Nerf Proton Mod Guide
Here are my mods for the Nerf Proton
Mods:
- Increased torsion spring
- Removed locks

Here is a look at the inside of the blaster when you first open it up |

Torsion spring before it was modded |

In order to put the torsion spring all the way to the back hole, you need to cut a small section out of the plastic to it rests in it. Then put the screw in on top to hold it in place. |

Here are all the parts I had left over after I was done removing the locks. |

This part of the trigger must be trimmed down in order for you to pull the trigger at any time. This makes it so you can also de-prime it. |

Here is a last look at the internals before putting it back together. |
I really enjoy this blaster. This blaster shoots farther than the Nerf Praxis. It is a fun and easy to use blaster. I will be making an attachment for the blaster so that it will drop feed the disks into the tray automatically when pulled back. I will put a post up when its put together. Thanks for viewing.

Jake: Modified Nerf Maverick

As for the paint job, the blaster was completely taken apart and then sand blasted. After sand blasting it and cleaning it off, he began painting. He only used one color but it came our really nice. He left the trigger and barrel orange to go with his hunting theme. The blasters paint job is extremely smooth and love the feel of it.
Jake does not have a blog, but I will be sure to let him know of any comments that are sent. Feel free to comment and share your opinion. Also if you have any questions, feel free to ask!
